Fireplaces Living Room Home Decorating

I need help on deciding what to do for fireplace. We are going to frame one from floor to ceiling. Would it look best to go all the way over to where the wall juts out? We first thought maybe stone then we were thinking stucco. What does this space need?? It will be a electric fireplace with tv above. We will move the loveseat.

Porcelain marble fireplace would be a good option for your considration

Be aware that you may need a dedicated circuit for the electric fireplace - depending on brand. Also, be sure to check the clearances that have to happen between the fireplace and the TV. Make a mock up on your wall and look at it, sit with it for a while to see about height.

We have decided to go with large porcelain tiles and a wood mantel.
