How about an interesting gallery wall to replace the mirror? It would balance that side of the room and define the dining area.

Who is it that thinks they live in a sports bar and needs to have the TV screen mounted too high on the wall so they can tilt it down? You don't want to see the wires coming down from the TV.

”Sports bar” was my first thought too! Theres’s a tv console right there - hang the tv 4” or so above it. Or set it on the console.

Browse through online sites for a tryptic. I like things like this; this one is sized for a couch, so maybe you’d want a smaller set.

Yea definitely ditch the mirror.

Definitely lowering the tv and I have a piece of art I love but I’m not sure it’s big enough for the space? Could I add something else to make it not look so bare.

Sarah, that’s a great piece! It looks close to size of TV - is it? The white frame ties in with your white chairs at table. I’d hang it centered on table but first I would take care of the TV new placement. Once that’s done you might want to do a mock up with paper cut to size to figure out best height for art with TV on same wall. But, maybe with TV lowered it won’t matter & just hang the art at good height for ceiling height etc. Can’t see what colors you have in seating side of room but I bet putting some accents with colors from art would be good. A throw, pillows etc. As far as needing more items on wall, sometimes less is more. That art image is dominant / strong so my first thought is nothing else will be needed. It’ll be such an improvement over the small mirror & too high TV. Please come back with a pic to show us!

The picture is a 28 by 38 so it is smaller than the Tv

Hmm - I hadn’t even thought of that - vertical - it surely could hang that way with the open teal color at top & flower at bottom. Interesting.

Sarah, those look like a nice related collection. I suggest making a mockup by laying a sheet or tablecloth on the floor folded to the size / space you want to cover on the wall. Then play with layouts & think about each possibility before hanging on wall. I’d try all 4 of those smaller pieces on one side of the large piece. They have more impact grouped together.

A gallery is going to be hard since it looks close to end of wall. I think a larger piece with some depth to it would be very nice. I think Beverly’s mock up is just right. Since the eye sees white first, the tall back white chairs I find very distracting. Might want to paint a coordinating color or if possible, replace with lower back, more cozy chairs.
