Design Dilemma Home Decorating Flooring

Struggling with flooring on new reno project… looking for a medium shade engineered hard wood floor, 9.5”+ wide, that is heavily wire brushed, low variation, and preferably white oak. Most companies seem to carry shades that are too light and don’t mesh well with our antique furniture. For reference, currently have 3/4 Jacobean, 1/4 red mahogany stain on our wood floors, so don’t want that dark, but not very light either! Thanks!

Use site-finished engineered hardwood flooring. Wire brushing, staining and finishing can be done on site.

This is a custom look so site finished makes the most sense.

The best way to get the color you want is to install raw hardwood and select a custom stain.

We built in 2021 and used DuChateau, Riverstone Collection, color Sava. Hard wax oil finish. Very happy with the floors so far and they are wearing better than the site finished floors I've had before. I have 3 dogs.

We are on a slab in FL.

Hard to capture the correct coloring with the camera.
