We are wanting to change up our fireplace. We put new tile surround in a few years ago but now I’ve been thinking about removing the top part and adding trim pieces all the way up to the ceiling. Not sure how hard it would be to remove everything above the mantle without damaging the mantle and the walls. Suggestions? Ive included pics of our current situation and the last 2 pics are inspiration. Thx!
