Landscape Design Design Dilemma Lighting

Outside lighting for walkway into front door ,side patio and back step

Hello .
I am hopeful I can get some good advice for lighting on the front pathway possibly the front of the home of course the side and the backyard .
I’m thinking something not too big since the small is small in stature . I’m not sure how many lights I don’t want to be excessive open to all ideas !! Trash cans will be moved sorry I should have moved them prior to posting .

There are lots and lots of options, and you may want to combine different ones for the different settings. But for sure, start by deciding whether you want to run wires out to lights, or count on solar getting enough sun, etc. Also, do you want the light for decoration, or to light walkways, or for security? All of those will point in different directions.

@acm can they be both? lol . Truly though the more thought I put into it I would like the front of the home pathway to be decorative the side and rear would be to light walkways.
