Eenie Weenie was one of the first I grew in a pot. Sherry - Winter is here in full force, isn't it? So far we've only had rain, but I think that will change soon. Happy Birthday to Abby! Eenie Weenie is such a cheerful shade of yellow!

Ehren Thomas had a good season and set pods like crazy. It has multiplied well in the first two years.

El Desperado had one its best seasons in several years.

Entwined in the Vine had a less than stellar season.

Empire of Desire had shorter scapes and a lower bud count than usual.

Empire of Dawn and Dusk is still being grown in a pot.

Euphoric looked much different last year than in previous seasons - probably caused by the lack of water in that garden.

Extravagant Love bloomed, but it had a very low bud count - only 3-5 per scape.

Debra, I will be happy if my E. in the Vine soon looks like yours despite the bad season.

We are glad Abby made it to 15. A little over two years ago she was in a pack of four, we just lost her big brother a month ago….she is on her own now. There will be a puppy this spring. Here is Abby with her big brother Jack.

Cutie dogs! We wrap toys for our dog on his birthday and he gets so excited when he opens them.

Edward Abbey had a good year even though it had just been moved.

Elderberry Wine is one of our intros.

Empire of Dawn and Dusk has been a very good parent for us. It's a good color clarifier.

Etosha was one of the first daylilies we bought back i 2005.

Evermore Greatful had a good year. I wish the scapes were taller to go along with the big flowers.

The color on Explosion in the Paint Factory was washed out this past season.

EDWARD ABBEY is my kind of daylily. I will have to consider adding that one to the collection.

EMERALD STARBURST: seems to be a bud builder as it blooms a long time for me.

What is the cultivar after Empire of Desire? Edge of Heaven is lovely. Seems not to be much in commerce. Sherry, I enjoyed hearing about your dogs. The mellowness of senior years is a different stage for us and our pets. I have never known my pets' birthdays; perhaps, you just count the day of adoption.

Echo Beach is a good grower and bloomer.

Elizabeth Peacock was divided last year. Good year to suffer division blues, since most things were subpar. Pic from 2022. Very saturated.

Early Shirley was still floriferous, with good height this year.

Existential Avatar had a subpar year. Usually has much higher bud count. Have to trim leaves on this one.

Evermore Greatful had some nice blooms in dryness and heat. Habit is a bit more sprawling than I like.

Edge of Irrelevance looks promising, but too early to judge plant habit.

Electric Ladyland has good height.

Every Knee Shall Bow holds its color well.

Edward Abbey had rich deep color. Plant habit is not ideal, but only by high standards. Have not seen it anywhere near registered height.

Seems that I didn't get a pic of Ethereal Sky Color this year. From a pot in 2022. We shall see.

Ebony Pools had fewer splotches than usual last year. About 4.5 inches.

I promise this is the last time I will whine about my covid experience. Apparently I have some long covid issues, first the cough that lasted for almost three months, and the fatigue that lasted for two months, and now memory issues that will not allow me to promptly pull up names or words as quickly as I would like. Case in point, I have difficultly remembering my daylily names. I can eventually ”grab” them but it takes time. Therefore, even though I may have several daylilies in these categories, I am only posting those I can remember!!!

Enter Laughing was spectacular. It had blooms like this for days and days.

Early Shift was a victim of the late freeze. As you can see, very few buds.

Emerald Bay has lovely blooms but very few of them and very few of them-it also blooms low in the foliage for me.

Entwined in the Vine. It is one of my favorites although it tends to ”flash bloom” in my garden. Gone after a week and does not rebloom. The lopedia bugs decimated my blooms last season so this is from a previous season.

Just a rich dark color on this one.

Ethereal Lavender. It does not look like much but imagine these in huge 7-8 inch blooms.

Well, Kate, Covid has really been an issue with you! It is good to hear experiences, as we all may be dealing with it (perhaps "again"). Of course, you don't have to be post-Covid to have memory issues; just add twenty years to your age (you and David are probably the youngest in this group). Sometimes, I'm amazed at a common cultivar that draws a blank.

I think you will find that Entwined kid Kingdom Bound is a longer bloomer than Entwined, but that pic of Entwined is ethereal (to use the name from another of your posts). Laura just raved about Early Shift last summer, so here I ordered an early-blooming evergreen. Here's hoping that its performace last year was not an anomaly.

As you know I have lots of room in my gardens so the short bloom time of EITV does not really bother me since there are so many others to take up where it leaves off!

Last year’s Early Shift performance could only be attributed to the late freeze I think as it has been outstanding in past years.

Mantis - Sorry! The one you asked about is Empire of Dawn and Dusk by Derrow. Having two that started with the word Empire must have short-circuited my brain.

Kate - Enter Laughing is a wonderful clump! Your clump of Entwined is a wow shot too. I think I only get two weeks of bloom out of Entwined here, but I do like it. Sorry about your memory problems. I've been having trouble remembering my daylily names for a couple of years now - from before I had Covid.

Yesterday I was unable to post on this thread for some odd reason. Nothing would happen at all. The flowers above that are the most beautiful are Ehren Thomas, Elizabeth Peacock, Ethereal Sky Color [wow!] and Etheral Lavender.

Egyptian Ibis always looks like this: perfect! A Munson.

Exotic Starfish is a good grower, but I still wonder about scape density of this diploid. It bloomed here, but not as well as in previous years. Picture not from this year. Again, I find myself having to divide frequently a diploid.

Escape Into Fantasy is a good grower and welcome earlier bloomer. Out of Point of Divergence. Good performance this year, as pic shows.

Eye of Truth. A Gossard that makes a showy clump.
