You have a grey/white/black area rug so I would coordinate art colour scheme with it and update the chandelier, yours seems to cast a very yellowish light. I would also reupholster the chairs seat which seem to be black now to a light colour that coordinates with your area rug. Instead of a clear vase, yours looks very nice, try a light colour vase to see if you like that for more contrast on the table.

Do you have picture mouldings in other rooms in your house, for example in the living room? and what is the general style of your house, the dining room seems to be open onto other areas... As for the paint colour, it's difficult to see exactly what colour is on your wall on my laptop or any other device just as you can't go by the colours you see in magazines. In my sketch above everything looks coordinated but I went by what I saw and obviously didn't see the exact colours if I go by your comment on the colour of your area rug.

The color on the walls is Loggia by SW. it opens up to the entryway and front sitting room.

we dont have other mouldings. We did however put in a batten wall in our laundry room that we just remodeled last Feb.

Our home is probably more traditional but we are trying to get away from that. I will post a picture of the laundry room etc to show what we have changed to style wise.

I would move side board under the wall art plus new chandelier.
