Faith That Moves Mountains had a low bud count last season. It had done well with buds the previous two.

Fancy Lace performed well in its first season to flower. It did take it three seasons to bloom however. I was pleased it had bud counts of 16 and 17 in a dud year.

Fighting Fire - I have two clumps of this one. One clump bloomed well and rebloomed. The other only bloomed on one fan.

Freedom of Expression was the tallest it's ever been last year - still not as tall as registered.

Fuchsia Sunrise was short on buds and scapes last season.

Fully Charged was a new one last year.

It's raining like crazy here today. We'll see if it turns into snow flurries tonight.

It's raining here too. We need all the moisture we can get to make up for the summer's deficit.

Faith Warrior is fairly new here and is taking a while to get established, but I think it has promise.. It's in a bed that needs redoing.

I am a little suprised that Fantasy and Dreams has done as well as it has. It's a Carpenter and they can be iffy here. It's also a late bloomer.

Feanorian Lamps was a bonus from Bob Faulkner and it has turned out to be a favorite.

Femme de Joie was been in the garden for a long time. We love the delicate coloring.

Fiesta Latina is a vigorous grower.

Fifty Ways to Leave Your Cat was moved just last spring. It bloom anyway. It will be interesting to see it next year.

Flame of the West is one of our intros.

Forestlake Point Lace is one of my favorite yellows.

I don't love Fourth of July in Georgia. The flowers are often blotchy, but it is toothy and vigorous. We kept it for breeding.

Fourth Rock is a small flowered daylily.

Fox Lake Fantasy was hybridized by a friend, Wally Zollman, in our local daylily club.

Fruitful Discovery is one of my favorite purple toothies.

The weather here is awful. Six inches of snow…now its raining, temps are falling to single digits. Schools are closed today. my son lived 20 miles north of here and roads are closed by him.

We had a surprise amount of rainfall very early Friday morning when it was still too warm to freeze. Now the temperature is going to plummet and the predicted snow on Sunday (if it arrives) would at least help protect the plants from the near or below zero temperatures that will accompany this arctic front out of Alaska..............Maryl

FREAKY PEOPLE: Nice dark purple and is a rapid increaser.

FIRE ON THE MOUNTAIN: I sing this one's praises all the time. A real standout color.

FEARFULLY AND WONDERFULLY MADE: usually get two scapes per fan. Many buds.

FEAR NOT: Good plant and the blooms are consistent.

FAT AND FOXY: A Bennett pink

FASHIONNAIRE: One of my favorite pink Bennett intros.

FRIEDA ALLEN JERRELL: One of my favorite lavenders. Love the greyed eye and the applique throat.

FAST PLEASURE: Becoming one of my favorite Bennett intros.

FINDER'S DELIGHT: A Bennett cream polychrome.

You have a really nice group of blooms, Sherry, hard to narrow down but my faves are Forever Redeemed, Final Touch and Flutterbye. Debra, Faith that moves Mts, Fancy Lace, and Freedom of Expression are my favorites of yours. Nancy, Fantasy & Dreams and your intro Flame of the West especially catch my attention.

Fiordiligi is such a good bloomer and nice color.

My unregistered First Light. Generally around 10 buds. if it had more I'd register it as it is good in every other way: multiplies quickly, reliable, above the foliage, sun fast.

Sherry, Flutterbye always catches my eye. So pretty. Debra, Fancy Lace is quite ”lacy”! And Fighting Fire is always a winner. Nancy, Feanorian Lamps is a looker. David, love the Bennetts. Brad, I always like your ”First Light”.

We too had a rainfall deficit, but please, we don't need more now. Thankfully, it isn't snow; or maybe not thankful, as there will be no insulation with the coming frigid weather.

Flutterfest looks like a true pink. Fruitful Discovery--I always liked the color at Ashwood, but was put off by slow opening (and I never saw it before noon). Difficult to locate now. As for Freedom of Expression, there aren't many of Curt's plants that are registered height. Some I see there are much taller than here; others, not, and I wonder when they were ever the registered height.

Free Wheelin I think has a more northern range than it used to have, all the result of climate change. People north of here used to complain about its performance, but looks good in Sherry's garden. Fear Not is vivid, but scapes aren't clearly above the foliage most years here. Fashionnaire looks alluring, but only 20 inches tall? How about a clump shot of Flame of the West?

Brad, there are a lot of daylilies registered as 10-15 or even higher (and most of those are 10 or less). Of course, you are farther south, so the bud count might be even less a ways north. Most of the older Stamiles in my garden (such as Rock Solid) have bud counts in the 6-9 range. There might be one scape that has more. However, I'm not seeing scape density in First Light. Beautiful ruffling and green throat. Maybe a bridge plant (I'm not a hybridizer). Another pic?

What a clump of Fried Green Tomatoes! It multiplies here, but not that much in the bloom department. I guess I am not a Herrington fan.

Fiesta Latina --great landscaper with good height (without being a bean pole), heavy bloom, and vivid color

Fiesta Panties --quite short, but colorful

From Sea to Shining Sea--good height for an Emmerich. Velvety.

Fire Pegasus --showy in the garden (probably 5.5 inches).

Free Ticket --usually looks more brownish (like Matthew Martin). Plant habit not clear yet.

For Ever and For Always--tall, modest budcount, striking color

Fancy Panties --blowsy form

Feminist Bookstore --haven't seen it at full clump strength yet. Colors seem best early in day.

Fountain of Life --can have a nice edge.

Flying Trapeze --good height on this Moldovan. Airy bloom placement.

Free the Captives --more purplish early morning color changes to reddish tones. Like many others, subpar this year.

Free to Dance --a delight this year after two years of doing little. Very appealing color to me.

Thanks for the information on registered clumps, Mantis. As I think about all the varieties I have, I realize that most do indeed have around 10 buds even from top hybridizers. Here's the only clump shot I have taken. I thought there'd be more. It is not from its best year.
