I only have one little lime. It is currently living on my kitchen table during the deep cold we have been having.

It was 1-F this morning. Got enough frost in the lowest corner of my green house to kill 1 pepper plant

Poncirus, I LOVE PEPPER PLANTS! Especially, chili peppers.

I am to far north to cold keep them in my garage. The cold season is also too long and the tree would desiccate.

This season was sooo milld. Almost 0 snow for for the 3rd year, not complaining, I hate the cold but it has been SUPER WET.

They still do well with temps from 50 all the way down to 35 degrees! I keep them cold and moist. Can't wait for the warmer weather and they can't either.

Same here. Not much snow and a bout of cod air once in a while but averaging above normal in rain and temps the most of the time,

it is a trade off for me, if they stay in the garage, they may dry out too much. I work FULL TIME, NO TIME for this hobby on steroids, I will be tempted to drag them out sooner rather than later so they get watered and hydrated. And mine are more inclined to die from under-watering than the cold. Not so bad here, they got to come into a garage for a couple of months.

My lime is back out in the porch. It will still be cold for a while, but I think we are past the deep freezes for the season.

Wow, and LIMES are supposed to be super tropical, I thought. They still are THE most prolific for me...., good thing I LOVE MOJITOS!
