Bathrooms Storage & Closet Design Dilemma

Suggestion on closet door - 3 panel on 5 ft opening

We have a 7 ft wide with a 5 foot opening reach-in closet, next to the bathroom vanity. It is facing the shower.
Previously, it had a 2 panel sliding mirror door, which we removed during the remodel.

We are planning for closet organizer and has a layout in place. It will have drawers and slide baskets.

Now, here’s the issue. While I prefer a no closet door look, hubby is very insistent on having closet doors. We had put in a 3 sliders on 3 track on the 7ft opening bedroom closet, and we really like that we are able to see 2/3 of the closet, and want to repeat that on the bathroom closet.

common or acceptable to put a 3 sliding door on a 5 foot opening? This also allows to open the drawers without hitting the doors.
the single rail track panel, and that might be flimsy. And hubby is a strong no on that.

Wondering what are other possible closet door options? We decided against bi-fold as that will hit against the bathroom vanity.

We took our doors off for new floor install and custom closet with the intent of putting them back, however, the closet was so nice we chose not to. It’s an area no one sees but you. I suggest you wait until the closet is finished before committing to doors.

3 door panels on a 5' slider will give you no real opening width to get anything in or out of your closet.

I think either bifolds or no doors. Make the space pretty with nice storage no junk in there an leave open Stacks of towels nice looking boxes for loose things big glass jars filled eith glass balls or soap Lots of choices to make this a nice space

Leave it open if you can talk your husband into it. If he is adamant about doors, consider modifying bifolds. We removed our closet sliders to eliminate the track when we replaced floors. We dismantled wood bifold doors, trimmed them a little (which did void the warranty) and used different hardware so we could fold them differently. They can close all the way, open all the way, or have the two outer panels function as fixed with the inner panels folded out of the way. That's how we leave them most often. The left side is immediately next to the vanity. This is a walk in closet, but I bet you could do something similar with the side semi fixed panels and doors folded to the outside. It would reduce your easy reach at the sides, but you might be able to adjust your storage configuration to better use the sides of the closet. This is ~` 5' closet opening, and the panels are just under 15" each. so the open area is about 30".
