I'm no expert but it looks good to me! I am also currently re-doing a 1920s home and choose a slightly mushroomy color for the cabinets to move away from the stark white look. My cabinet designer included one glass front cabinet as well.

Keeping a historic look was important to me (my entire house had literally never been updated and I wanted a unique look) but I don't know if that's a consideration for you. 1920s homes didn't have upper cabinets hung on the walls, so I chose to have a cabinet that looks like it is sitting on the countertop. You can also use corbels that reach from the cabinet to the countertop to give the appearance that it is being supported by the lower cabinets if you want to make it less cookie-cutter as well. Either way, it'll be great!

Post a 2D floor plan with all measurements if you want good advice. Also show all doors, windows, etc with where they lead to.

Right now it looks like your fridge will not be able to be opened all the way.

@cpartist - You are correct, shrunk a cabinet to leave more space to the right of the fridge. I'm not buying a new fridge so I updated the one in the model to a version that's more accurately sized.

@Hannah - My thinking was to maximize the contiguous countertop workspace on the right vs having 2 smaller sections. I am temped to move the 12" pull out cabinet that's displayed below to the right of the dishwasher, over to the left of the sink. But I'll have to check with my contractor because the water valve from the wall would need to move over a stud to accomodate this.

Ugh! 1920s kitchens with all of the doorways and short cabinet runs! we had to get rid of a door too. i really dont like dw in prep space so i might switch dw and sink, then put fridge where mw is. this assumes you could walk in from dr with dw open. if not you are kind of stuck with current layout.

if the fridge is against a wall you probably can’t open it all the way. i don’t understand your comment about this.

Regarding the fridge, It has about 3.5 inches of space to the right in the latest version from my last message so I believe that it should be able to open to at least 90 degrees. The floor plan will show that as about 2 inches of space but the fridge that I own is a bit more narrow than the closest equivalent from the IKEA kitchen builder tool.

Sadly the area with the microwave is not deep enough for the fridge. It would stick out further than the entry on the left.

What are the refrigerator specs? My guess is that you won't be able to open the refrigerator door wide enough to get the crisper drawers out.

Does a table need to go in here? If not, how about this for more storage and counter space? That’s a pantry closet in red.

It might just be me, but I don't like that the sink isn't centered under the window, and it looks small. You might consider a larger sink centered on the window and put the dishwasher on the left. I would switch the stove to the other side and put the cabinets where the stove is, it would be more functional and more visually appealing with the wall sticking out. Of course that would require moving electric/gas line if that's where it currently is, not sure if that's in your budget.
