The sectional can only be 108" in each direction.

My apologies, I noticed after I uploaded this that the diagram was missing the opening on the longest ”closed” wall. there is a 7.5’ opening on this wall.

Do the current sofa and love seat recline?

Your current set up is the best. You just need to have your reclining sectional wrap around to into the area where your love seat is currently located or the other side so the back of the short side of the L is to the opening.

Do you know how far away from the wall the sofa needs to be placed? Are you sure you don't want a regular sofa and one recliner chair? Or, a regular sofa and a big ottoman to put your feet on?

I live in an apartment and we were looking for a reclining chair for my husband but it ended up that it needed more clearance than we could accommodate in the room. We went for chair and ottoman instead.
