Hosta T 2023 .................................

Back on the computer. Once again, I thank my trusty laptop for taking up the slack. Back up often. I cannot stress this enough.

Ok we are not here just to hear my personal computer history. We are her to talk hostas. So, let's see some Ts today.

I just knew that if you stuck pins in her ears, for earrings, the holes did not go away.

Rock and Roll forever.

Have a great day everyone! Show some Ts:

Just a couple T's here, both kind of scraggly but I'll post anyway, it's all I got.

    Paula..great your computer’s up!..
    never had grilled cat 😜..

love all of the T’s..especially Tickle Me Pink..

I don’t have nice pics of Twilight..unsure of my exact Tokudama ID..you guys covered me..👍
I do have a Tiny Tears picture..I’m sure you know it’s the one by the stones..

Paula, so happy you are up and running again!🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️ I love the Chuck Berry letter too! He was one of the greats!

Indianagirl, your tokudama flavocircinalis is a beauty! Awesome color Contrast….

Beth, Gary and Saija, you all have terrific looking Thunderbolts. I planted a small one a while back and it didn’t make it.

Saija, it’s interesting to me how location and weather can make our plants look different. Your Touch of Class resembles a June to me.

Peren, love that little Teaspoon. Yours is why I bought mine!

tj, your Tick tock is really a nice one….so full and big!

Old_dirt, love.y Touch of Class is beautiful and a good size.

Ann, your Tiny Tears is soooo cute! Does that act like a ground cover? Also I encourage you to post your pics even if others have posted theirs. The whole idea is to appreciate each other’s efforts and see how hostas look from zone to zone.

    Now my Ts:
Tenyru had cutworm damage, Time in a Bottle arrived in August and the leaves began to die off pretty quickly. I think the crown is fine, but contacted the vendor in case there are problems with it this spring. Teeny Weeny Bikini I think I will pot up and see if it will put on some growth so it looks like the reverted one in terms of size.

awww debra thanks for the encouragement..I take close ups then delete them..they’re not as clear as I want..I have an old small Canon camera but the phone is so easy to post from I use the phone..I thought my newest phone (iPhone 14 Pro Max) would give me perfect pictures..but I guess I haven’t learned the right settings..
I admit others here are probably making more effort..I DO appreciate the results..your Touch of Class photo is beautiful..sorry about Tattoo..I was afraid to try it..
Tiny Tears is spreading..but since it’s small it’s not very fast to cover much ground..Twilight is on the right near the curb..

lol..see a variegated leaf hiding in an Elegans?..that’s Twilight..my photos need instructions haha..

This is my only T. Trees! Newhostalady asked what were the trees that wiped me out recently. These are their stories.

Pretty soon I will not be able to see any sky inside them.

    Have a great evening everyone!

I have a tag that said ‘Tokudama’..hosta library photos of Tokudama Aureonebulosa resemble mine..
when I bought it half was already a solid..bought it anyway..see it near the center of the photo?..
posting because Laurie and debra told me to 😂..
I think the lower left corner is a June..

Glad you're computer is working now, Paula. You did great to keep the alphabet going in spite of the problems.

I bet Chuck Berry got a kick out of that letter!

Just one T and it's a new one for me.

Tootie Mae, a little crumpled from being boxed up and shipped.

TJ I was hoping you would post your terrific Tick Tock.

    old_dirt I think that is a lovely T of C.

Ann I adore Tiny Tears, is is beyond cute. So glad you posted your Twilight by the entrance. Your property is magical.

Debra you will never regret getting Teaspoon, happy to enable! Sorry about Tattoo, it is a tougher one to grow.

Shadow so nice to see another Teaspoon. Your Twilight is lovely.

Ben Tom Terrific is so well named, love it.

Paula your trees will be leafed out waaay ahead of mine lol!

mbug you could not go wrong with The King if that is what you settle on. Tom Schmid is wonderful. I so wanted to get mine planted but another year went by. I will just have to enjoy yours.

Lisa Tootie Mae is gaining popularity here and I look forward to seeing her develop over the years.

Shadow, your Twilight is my favorite of all of them…the colors seem softer and I like that.

Ben, Twinkle Little Star is also a cutie and has such wavy, waxy leaves. Great little blue!

Ann, I would separate that tokudama F. There are 4 leaves that haven’t reverted, two big and two little. Maybe dig up the the reverted leaves and plant elsewhere.

Mbug, your Tenyru is a beauty! Can’t wait til mine look like that! Also love The Razors Edge….looks green and white striped but that’s the veins in the leaves…..right?

Sandyslopes, Tootie Mae was new for me this year as well. I can’t wait to see how she develops.

Tea at Bettys looks so chipper in lots of sun.

Paula, I am remembering you said one should back up your back up! I learned that I wasn't saving some of my bookmarks properly when my computer broke down. So today I will ask my son about making sure I have a back up for my computer and everything important to me.

Paula, you have made me very curious about your neighbor's trees. They look very dense at the top. Maybe you can get a picture of the leaves when they are out later?

    Titanium. Growing slowly.

Touch of Class. One of my favorites. With Golden Meadows to the left.

Tsugaru Komachi. I bought it at a hosta nursery. Looks more like Tsugaru Komachi Kifukurin to me.
