I like the type, that go into the baseboard (spring type). I have dents in two doors from the spring type. They have been removed and tossed into the trash, I would not use those.

The type of stop I use depends on the door location & the size of the door knob.

I have a combination of the flat, round hard plastic ones that are painted the same color as the wall, and the baseboard type.

The baseboard ones can be found in regular sizes, a shortened version, or an angled version (which I think mounts on the door itself).

I like them to disappear, right into a baseboard
