“spots” in our LVP flooring

We just put in a brand new LVP floor (Mohawk) and have these strange spots all over the floor. Has anyone ever seen this? What could they be?

We have tried cleaning with EVERYTHING, even mineral spirits, and they don’t really feel different. They are driving me crazy because the floor looks dirty!

You may need to do some sanding on the black spots. Start with a tougher grit like 60 or 80 and go up from there to even it out, ending with maybe 150. Use a disc sander, you can rent one that also vacuums up the majority of the dust and you'll still need to do the corners by hand. Get rid of the remaining dust, then stain and seal. Judging by your picture, i'm guessing your floors are oakwood. So a Polyurethane would be best for a decent finish

Looks like a product issue. Board replacement is needed.

bestcleaningcompany.ca , the OP stated the flooring is LVP or VINYL, you do not sand vinyl. Read before you post.
