Love the fireplace! Stone?

I would love to know what stone was used for the fireplace surround.

    Thank you for your question.
I searched for months and months - after my home was in full build mode! Importing from across the country wasn’t an option for us - nor most people. It was so nerve-racking!
It’s also the exterior stone on our home. I am a designer that is convicted to the exterior and interior being cohesive. It is a custom blend 70% buff and 30% charcoal of a natural stone product. However I don’t have a specific name for the stone itself - natural to Texas.

Thank you for the feedback! I am having the hardest time locating this look for our fireplace. I don't want the typical stacked rock, mosaic look, but that's all I can find. The search continues!

Try a stone provider that specializes in exterior stone. Due to the weigh of natural stone - this is what is called a "thin cut" veneer.

    Good luck!
