Hey there, this is my first time posting to Houzz but so apologies if I should handle differently. I’ve seen people work wonders on here and thought it’d be worth a shot. We have a long rectangular living room with three tall windows that sit about 12” from the floor along with two doorways and a fireplace. We’ve always wanted a sectional but aren’t sure how we could make it work. My husband is very tall (6’6”) so I know we at least want a very long couch.

Additional notes:

• We’re planning on mounting a TV above the fireplace
• Definitely taking out the large brown couch, oversized chair, and armless paisley chair
• Swapping rug but unsure of best size since room is so long
• We know we want lots of comfortable seating and want to add a coffee table
• Keeping most other furniture for now other than artwork but completely open to placement
• We have a 5 year old so we’re constantly playing games & running around

Does anyone have any recommendations on layout for a space like this? Thanks for your time!
