Sock feet make almost every floor feel slippery .

The most beautiful sanded on site hardwood floor, in a matte finish will be "slippery" with socks on. LVP same, engineered same and no matter if sanded or pre finished. Put some house shoes on: ) and MOVE on. You can't hurt the floor wearing shoes, or slipper socks with rubber dots on the bottom.

I have no clue what you mean by "broken in". You break in a new pair shoes.....not a floor : )

Actually, even shoes should need no break in. They should fit at purchase.

🤷‍♀️We have LVP and have never noticed it more slippery than one would expect any non carpet floor to be. Never heard this complaint before.
