I live in San Diego and have a 23-yr-old in-ground pool. It needs to be renovated and we probably need to redo major portions of the stamped concrete patio around it due to heave. We almost never use the pool, and considering how expensive this reno will be, I think we need to at least consider filling in instead. My one concern is that when we do sell the house, would the new buyer be able to put in a pool, or would the remnants of our pool make that cost prohibitive or even impossible?
