chandelier sizing help!

I am in the process of a new construction house, and decided to buy all of my light fixtures. I looked for months and this has been the hardest decision to make. I finally found the perfect chandelier that I am obsessed with, and now I am stressing wondering if It is too large.. I am unable to return it at this point and it has not been installed yet. I know the general rule Is to add the length and width of the room and the total should be the circumference of the chandelier. My dining room is 12 foot tall and 16 x 19 ft = 35, however the chandelier I ordered is two tiered. One layer is 40 inches and the second is 32 inches. It is technically a few inches over what is recommended. Is this too large for the space, or is it okay to go slightly larger?
