Yes.

No. Refinishing/repairing engineered stone is an art. Even experienced technicians who are great with natural stone struggle to get a finish match. The last guy to touch it owns it; don't let that be you please.

The three reflections in your last picture indicates that no one has attempted a previous repair; the gloss and "snakeskin" are factory identical. If they try a mechanical fix, you'll want that replicated.

The very straight sides of the mark were possibly created by something like a vacuum pod that would secure the slab to the CNC machine during fabrication. Measure the width of the mark and the width of their pods please.

A simple poultice may remove it without changing the finish, but that's their gamble, not yours.
