A photo of your bathroom and a better sense of your style would be helpful. What is the height of your ceiling?

This bathroom is 100% new construction - sitting there totally framed out right now. I hesitate to post a drawing because I'm definitely NOT looking for any input on the layout. I am 110% happy with what we've done and are making no changes to walls, fixture locations, etc.

Just looking for suggestions on where to look for a light fixture.

This is our tub:

So you can see that when you enter from the bedroom, you'll be looking down a hallway with a pretty bathtub under a 4' x 4' window. The chandelier/fixture will be hanging at the end of the hallway, sort of centered in the bathroom area, between you and the tub.

Our ceilings are only 8' so I know I need to be cognizant of size.

Are there places out there I'm not thinking to look? Thanks.

Rather than particular places to look for lighting, I would try Pinterest with a specific description, such as “curvaceous semi-mount ceiling light”, and let it take me down a rabbit hole of possibilities.

Thanks for that suggestion - I like your descriptive word choices!! And heck, what's one more rabbit hole in the big picture of huge construction project research.

Susan W, I also think that you want to send it so that when you are standing at the door into the bathroom, it does not look slightly off-center to the left. I think that might be a very odd look. I also was thinking that you might need some kind of a very flat light between the two closets because it will be darker there, and then you would still want to be able to see the very beautiful chandelier. Also, remember that you need to be sure it is a wet rated light. I may have a lighting website for you to try, but I’m not sure I remember the name correctly, so I’m going to look it up.

Thanks all. Have been happily down a rabbit hole all evening and expect the new selections will take me down even more.

Yes, the chandelier will definitely be totally centered in the space directly at the end of the hall. As will the tub and the window. And we've got quite a few cans in various parts of the room/hall. But this light fixture wil be the only one that's actually visible, which is why I'm sort of obsessing.

I usually fall in love with over priced fixtures on Visual Comfort. Then you can do a reverse google image search to try to find a close knock off.
