Worms find tissue boring so you need to find something more interesting.

My dog would snort up the Fig Newton and the kleenex in less time than you can say "Glutinous Fool" so I'm sort of marveling at your situation. The kleenex certainly won't hurt anything, but your worms will benefit more from other compostable contributions that have more nutrients. Worms love to snuggle up together in an egg shell and they like lots of other leftovers from your meal preps.

You could start composting in a containment or you can direct bury food scraps.

Thank you for those suggestions. I am using other organic stuff like used weeds, without seeds and leaves as well as rabbit manure, I just wondered about the tissues since I use them every day. Yes, my chihuahua gobbles up her fig newton every day!

Add the tissues (or reuse them) and you’ll get better results by just dumping on kitchen scraps like coffee grounds, banana peels, eggshells, etc.
