Living Room Home Decorating Fireplaces

Fireplace - need some design advise!

Hi all!

I’m looking to remodel this fireplace. We already installed new beige/hint of gray wood floors. I’m going for the Cali modern style. Not sure if I want to try the Venetian plaster style fireplace or use marble due to my expensive taste -lol out budget varied but Any ideas at all let me know!!

Floor is covered now so I can’t take a more recent pic but here’s an idea of how it looks 😬

Venetian plaster will look nice and keep you in budget… that gets my vote.

(But you can also mix the Marble with the plaster.
You can do a marble hearth.
Or marble with plaster boarder…)
