Also - get ready to hear people screaming: The TV is TOO HIGH! :) And actually, it does seem a bit high. If it could be lowered, it may make it more comfortable for viewing. Although, maybe it works this way, because when you are lying back in the recliner, you are able to easily look up at it. You are the best judge of how it works for you.

I would add an area rug probably 9x12 depending on your room measures. and yes the Tv looks odd being so high,. Suggested artwork for the wall is nice just depends on your taste but the room is dull. lamps are too small try a floor lamp & a larger table lamp

If it was my space:

- less gray wall color

- lower TV just a bit

- get a rug with some color and/or pattern

- get some art for the wall (sloped ceiling is irrelevant)

- houseplant in the corner looks a bit sad, maybe it needs more light and/or fertilizer

- a couple of bunching tables to use as a coffee table. Lighter to move around when switching from reclining to sitting.

I would put the sofa on the TV wall, move the TV to the angled wall and put the love seat facing the new TV wall... put the singlle club chair facing the TV in front of the window (great light for reading). I would paint the angled wall Black.

Since you don't know about decorating, first step is to post a Houzz Design Dilemma that shows all four sides of your space and some measurements so we can help you with layout first. You're only showing three sides. Stand against the far wall and take a photo so we can see the other side of the room. After that, you'll get better advice. Oh, provide a photo of the current TV wall. Can't see what dark thing is at far end on that wall: doorway? furniture?

First impression: Sea of gray and giant brown furnture. So you'll want to balance that out with some pattern in the form of a rug, some art work, great lighting, possible change of wall paint. It's gray and gloomy right now.

But post a photo of the fourth wall of the room so you can get layout right first.

Keep in mind that you're inviting some design pros and people with a design eye into your home via photos. If they walked into your actual space, they would take in all of it: all four sides, doorways, floors, windows, ceiling, trim--the "givens"--then the features that can be changed--furnishings, paint, art, rugs, decor items, etc. It's all one first impression. Same thing with photos. That's why it's important to provide well lit photos of the entire space, taken from all sides of a room regardless of the size of your problem.

You already have blue pillows so guessing that you like blue. Blue looks good with your brown furniture.

Add more blue when you select a new rug and art work. Spray paint your plant pots blue.
