So sad 😔

I lost all my citrus trees - Meyer lemon, a wonderful Rio Red grapefruit, the best tangerines ever (Ponkan) and new plants I bought never made it.

I do have one shrubby Key lime I started from seed, and tho it does show signs of greening on some of the leaves, it's been plugging along for a number of years now.

I've used copper and nutritional sprays and foliar feeding with seaweed extract, along with Espoma citrus fertilizer, which seem to be helping it survive.

Bea, So sorry to hear that greening has hit your Satsuma. I never had any of mine hit when I was in Jax but I kept them all potted because many were iffy for Jax 9a..(but now its supposed to be 9b)! I dont think potted trees are any more protected though.

I had a Glen Navel and a Brown Select Orange in the ground previously in Orange Park and those two were huge. I wonder if they are still ok.

Carol, Wow that is heartbreaking to lose all of your citrus! Really scary. I hope they figure out how to cure or prevent all these Citrus diseases soon or nobody will have any!

I never spray anything here. I hope I dont have to start. I have seen the little green tree frogs and squirrel tree frogs eating psyllids and thrips. I'm sure they dont eat them all though.

I hear UF is working on some more resistant varieties.

I recently ordered 5 hardier Citus trees for my Birthday. Now I'm depressed lol. They are supposed to arrive today 😬
