Help finding plant name

Hello. I found this climbing vine growing at the foot of a tree back home. Not sure which plant it is. Its stem is very spiny, and overall it looks not friendly. The back of the leaves is not green but brown/red. I wonder if anybody can help me find what plant it is. Any advice is welcome! :)

My guess is Greenbrier, a noxious weed.
