Paint help with a kitchen!

Have a large kitchen. White cabinetry, St. Cecilia granite with a neutral stone backsplash. Oak hardwood floors and large eat in area. Currently have it painted sage, but am looking for update. Friend told me green is worst color for kitchen today, so now I just have to change it! We get alot of sunlight and the house is a very open floor plan. Any suggestions are GREATLY appreciated
