Considering the following on kitchen walls (under construction so no pic) and on the beams. With alabaster ceilings and whitetail trim.

SW7042 Shoji White
SW7568 Neutral Ground

I wouldn't mix Alabaster and Whitetail. Pick one or the other as your white.

Alabaster is more popular, but I prefer Whitetail. It is cleaner and lighter. But the two are so close that they may look like a tried to match and missed effort rather than an intentional color change.

Paint colors should be selected after flooring, cabinets, countertops, backsplash and after you have decided on your color palette.

Thank you. I have all picked out except hardwood stain color. Now just debating on paints. I guess I could use whitetail everywhere but I still would like the beams just a tad darker.

The trick to doing a cream and white look is to make sure the cream is different enough that it doesn't look like a mistake, but looks intentional

What colors in the first bedroom pic? I love that! But would do reverse- light trim deeper walls.
