We're remodeling our fireplace unit. We just painted our beam white snd are planning on having our shelves painted white as well. We've replaced our mosaic travertine tiles with ledger stone. We're wondering which mantle would look best. We were originally going to have a custom made shaker mantle surround built, but now we're wondering if a wood beam would look best... or would it clash with the traditional feel of our space.
