Every surface of my hall bath including the floor is 1” glass tiles. 4 years in no issues.

Hallett, I would love to see a picture. Is the glass on the floor slippery at all? Especially when wet?

Nope, not with all of those mortar joints. I will post a photo tomorrow or go to my page and look at the job called Lafayette

Vitrified glass tile is the only type of glass suitable to floors. Standard back painted glass gets scratched.
