Why would that be too thin?

As long as the porcelain is rated as "floor" tile on the specification sheet then there shouldn't be an issue using it on the floor.

Floor rated tile is for the floor.

A heated floor tile floor needs the heat turned on well AFTER a tile install, at least a week in most cases, and very gradually - avoid cracks.

Some may say three days, some seven days.....years ago it was 28 days.

Personally, I'd give it two weeks. : )

Is it a floor tile that is all that matters for the size and as stated there are things to consider when having the tile installed over heated floor . I find it an odd size tile for a small space .

Patricia, i am also wondering about the large tile size for a small area. Our goal is to have a no grout line look. if we are going for that look, what does it matter if its larger or smaller tile?

Kate, do you see wide grout lines in your floor with 12 x 24 tiles? moving our thinkng now to 12 x 24 for sure.

Where is the PLAN for the bath? The flat 2 dimensional plan with every foot and inch. ? Not a sky view...feet and inches, walls, windows doors all.
