Can we have a picture of the wallpaper and a picture of the wall including the banquet. I personally would extend it into the banquet area as I feel you may have better stopping points there but hard to say without pictures.

Haven’t decided for sure on wallpaper just yet.

This last picture is from kitchen looking into dining room. As you can see from top pic…. Wall over nook continues above kitchen cabinets as well.

I don’t think you will be happy stopping it mid wall where the black arrow is - there’s a lot happening in the space with the nook, peninsula etc - are you committed to the B&B/wallpaper?

How about board and batten on the bottom of both dining room walls but wallpaper only on the top of the wall that has the china cabinet. Looks like there’s a logical place to end the paper on that wall.

Plan your layout for the board and batten. Where will it start and end?

This shows that it's pretty high up on the walls. If you do something like this, then you might not need wallpaper.

I might consider running the wallpaper to through the nook.

I'd consider adding drapery panels to boost up the appearance of the dining room.

I second the high board and batten and drapes given the parameters regarding kitchen/nook/where to end. What about adding wallpaper or a bolder color to the back of your china cabinet?? That could be a fun and colorful moment and much easier (and cheaper) to diy! You might be able to find a remnant of some really knockout designer wallpaper that you may otherwise have been hesitant (or unable) to spend on for the whole space! The gold and cream one you posted might look nice in there, too- depending on how large the pattern/repeat is.
