Laundry Room Design Dilemma Bathrooms

Should door hardware match other fixtures

We are currently remodeling our laundry room & bathroom and we are also replacing all interior doors. My plan was to do black hardware on all of the interior doors, but now I'm questioning whether the hardware on the bathroom & laundry closet doors should match the sink & tub hardware?

It doesn't have to match. My door hardware is ORB. One bathroom has satin nickel the other chrome.

We went with all brushed nickel when we remodeled in 2015 - baths, kitchen, doorknobs, door hinges, cabinet hardware.

Don't think there's a hard and fast rule, it's what you like. I wanted the uniform look.

I have all matte black door handles and champagne bronze pulls in laundry and kitchen, black fixtures in bathrooms

It doesn’t have to match, unless you want it to. Personal preference. Mismatched metal police won’t be coming to your house. :)
