It’s hard to tell from your picture — what color are your bath fixtures? The mirror looks to be brass?

(IMO, a rectangular, frameless mirror, perhaps the width of the vanity, would look better than the one you have.)

The general recommendation is that the vanity light should be about 75% of the width of the mirror. I have the Visual Comfort Lufe* in two bathrooms and the Span** in one. Both are available in satin nickel and 24", 36", and 48" lengths. Visual Comfort lights (sold at build.com) are pretty expensive but you may be able to find ones similar to the Lufe at Home Depot.

None have a modern farmhouse category.
