    Hi Fig!

Just wanted to let you know I can see your post here!

For me, since last year anything I post from the website doesn't appear. I have to go to the Houzz app to post.

But I hate navigating threads on the app, so I read the forum on the website, and then go to the app if I want to reply to a thread. Tedious.

Howuselezzz really lives up to it's nickname!

Huh. How irritating for you, John and Seaside. I've never had any trouble; I post on the website.

My last comment over on the modern roses forum did show up, but the previous two still haven't appeared. They just went *POOF!* into the ether, lol.

    trouble here also...

off and on for a week or so....which is why my presence has been sporadic, at best.

Melissa, do you post from a desk top? The old fashioned way? I do and only rarely have problems posting, but when I do, I tell them to fix their server problems. Trish in Australia has problems accessing Houzz. I don't know if her posts disappear. They just won't let her on Houzz at times. Diane

Some times mime disappear and then they show up double or triple

I've always used my phone. When I had those problems it was mainly not enabling me to do backspaces to correct mistakes. It would go haywire. And once in a while if the post was 2 paragraphs or longer it would disappear.

I contacted Houzz and got feeble, anodyne advice implying it wasn't their fault and probably my fault, even after I gave them the specs of my machine: make sure your software is up-to-date, clear history, use Chrome, blah, blah blah, none of which were relevant or worked. My machine is pretty up-to-date -- a MacBook Air with an M1 chip running Sonoma 14.4 as the OS. I haven't had such problems much in the past -- just recently.

I have posted comments that disappeared, so I never bothered to replicate them since I value my time/sanity, even though I am trying to help.

Yes, I've just recently had my replies vanish but it seems to be working now.

Diane, my computer is a laptop a couple of years old. I never had trouble with the computer I had before, either. I use mainly Outlook to post.

When I have had trouble lately, it was actually always because I forgot to sign in. Otherwise, no trouble at all. I am using a MacBookPro computer, the old fashioned way.

I write my post and when I hit submit it disappears... Sometimes over & over again... Sometimes I have to do a restart then it works... Using Windows laptop /google chrome...

I use the Houzz app on my IPhone and have random posts that refuse to post. If I use my laptop, no problem, but I seldom use my laptop. I have noticed that posting early in the morning seems to work better for me. Maybe because the site is less busy? Dunno.

I have had great success in the past using Houuz support. If you scroll all the way down, you will see lists. Under "GET HELP" there are buttons called Houzz Support, and another called Contact. I forget which one I used, but it was one of those. You can leave them a message about what is wrong. Each time, they would open a "tickeet", and then got back to me within a day or two, and fixed whatever it was. You need to be pro-active.

Being, by nature, a pro-active person, that's exactly what I did, Jackie, and was less than impressed. The Houzz techies did not fix the problem, did not have an answer, and, as far as I could tell, did not have a clue.

Catspa, "... did not fix the problem, did not have an answer, did not have a clue" will be engraved on the tombstone of every How-uzzlezz "customer service" tech, lol.

Well, it was years ago, I admit, and maybe they have worse training now. I do remember my favorite problem they DID fix - it was right after a massive "improvement" they did to the web site. Of course, many things were goofed up. (this is not just HOUZZ - when I was working for a world-wide insurance conglomerate, we always were horrified when they told us we were going to get a "new and better system" - sometimes they had to run the old system for months while they got the bugs out of the new one. And, just last week I was talking to someone on one of my medical web sites, which usually work. All he had to say was "we just got new softwear", and instead of being irritated, I felt sorry for him.). Anyway, with Houzz I was looking for the full list of different gardening topics. When I finally found it, it was NOT in alphabetical order! They did fix that in 24 hours - I think they were embarrassed.

Count me among the wounded! Last night I wrote a post, including a picture, about my Burlington Roses arrival. Now it’s … hello? Hello?

@SylviaWW 9a Hot dry SoCal I see your post about Burlington, and there are several replies.

Susan, confound it! I’ll keep looking.

I can see your post about Burlington also. It is just on the Roses Forum, not on the Antique Roses one.
