Are you getting a rug? I would do that before getting a new chair, specially if you want to add some color/pattern.

Trade in the love seat for a second full sized reclining sofa. Place it where the love seat is now. I love having two full sized safas at an angle.

Recliners are extremely bulky. Having two bulky long sofas is a more cohesive look than three separate pieces of bulky furniture in a room.

I like the idea of having two long sofas but they both only have two recliners chairs and I need one more.

Sorry, I'd go with two long sofas, four reclining options, and let the kids duke it out with each other. Plus, you could get a pouf that one underprivileged child can put their feet up on. I wouldn't let your kids dictate the whole look of your room.

Slight;y off topic but I would remove the two bookshelf units next to the fireplace and center a larger TV on the wall to the left of the fireplace where the small TV is angled now. It would look cleaner (less cluttered) and work better fior TV viewiung. I agree about exchanging the loveseat for another full-size sofa. Then consider choosing and occasional chair that doesn't match, maybe in a pattern, to break up the look of a "boxed set". Nice room; good luck!
