I have a small kitchen, and it has 20 × 20 " glazed porcelain tiles. We decided to put in a very small extension. We had 6 tiles left over that we thought we could use for the area ..it is approximately 90 L and 48" Depth..come to find out that the 6 tiles we had are not enough to tile that extension. Worse yet, it was discontinued 8 years ago. We saw some tiles that were similar, but you can't have a nearly close.. What can we do with this area?

What will the extra area be used for? How far over does it extend to the left?

Depending how you use the area, you may be able to place the six tiles in the middle of the area and find a complimentary tile to s surround it.

Find a tile that contrasts. Rip out a few random existing tiles to replace with the new tile. Mix the two in the extension. I ment to do that!

Wow..those are all great ideas..thank you..I am thinking of using the 6 remaining 20 ×20 tiles..cutting them in half and placing them around the edge then putting decorative tiles ..these tiles in the.center will form a design..pull in one color from the existing tiles but ultimately be another design and color.

What do you think about that?

The area is 90 by 48..it extends the breakfast area..
