Heya,

Central-Ish Florida - South of Tampa. 10A Zone. Looking to add some color in my front yard. See image - yes I know the grass is dead (if you can see it). It's been dead since the day we bought this place and the sprinklers are broken. Just another Lennar home. Anyhow - Looking for low maintenance plants - shrubs, flowers etc. Would love from fragrant flowers... but i don't have the best green thumb when it comes to non-producing plants. (Up north I failed 100% of my frost-proof Gardenia - died from fungus). Great luck from Plumerias - but they were naked lil sticks 70% of the time with short blooming season mostly indoors. Rare flower development. Maybe it's different if I try it here in FL?
