Landscaping advice needed

I’m trying to layout a plan to get a quote from my landscaper, but I can’t decide if this is too boring. The back of the lot faces south to a protected grassland and some aspen trees, so no need for privacy there. I want to do a 12x16 gazebo on the west side of the lot for a nice shady spot to lounge while the kids play. The deck size can’t change as the piles are in, but the stairs can go wherever. I kept the deck open as it’s low to the ground and I just want to enjoy the view of my yard. I plan to add perennials around the patio areas over time, but should I be trying to incorporate more curves in the patios for an organic feel? Any ideas would be appreciated! Also, there will more than likely be a playground structure on the east/south east side of the backyard so I’m not too worried about what to do there. Thank you!

I don't always find curves to be more organic. Sometimes they feel more contrived and forced to me. I think it is the height of plants, their groupings, textures, and pliability in the wind that can make them feel more organic. Also, the succession of and play around how much of a view is obstructed or revealed can make for a more organic feel than just the shape of hardscaping.

These yards have very straight, linear hardscaping but quite an organic feel.

You can change to curvilinear patio shapes or create curvilinear planting beds in order to add informality to the design. Here are a few suggestions. However, since I do not know where you live, you may need to change the plants for your climate.
