Hi, we have a few places where the metallic trim on the sides of our kitchen cabinet doors have started to come off. We were planning to gluing them back. A few of the trim pieces are warped though (I think because of the heat from the stove/oven); it's almost like it's gotten stretched out and when it’s pushed in it doesn’t want to sit flush. Any tips for gluing this back so that it sits flat again and not peel off like this? And what type of adhesive would be best? It’s right above the stove so ideally it’ll be able to resist some amount of heat going forward.
