Case Mountain, Three Rivers CA

Not poison sumac.


fragrance is strong and reminds me of citrus leaf but also combined with Fragrant Sumac but this is not Fragrant Sumac which was growing nearby.

    Jay, interesting, because I thought it looked very much like wafer-ash (Ptelea trifoliata), which is quite uncommon and has the associated citrus smells. But it was hard to think one of those would be out in CA.
