Never bloomed before. A surprise.

A miniature like one that already bloomed.

We had tornadoes in neighboring towns, Lexington and Nicholasville. Wilmore just had wind and rain.

Hooray for scapes! I love all of your spring flowers. I hope your storms weren't severe. We basically had a lot of rain, followed by strong winds. We really needed the rain since it has been a dry spring here.

The daffodils have been pretty. Most of these daffodils are seedlings. We attend the Shirley Farmer Midwestern Hybridizers Meeting every year. A lady attended who also bred daffodils and would bring big bags of seedlings for sale for a cheap price. We have really enjoyed these this season. The ones with the orange cup have especially increased.

The viburnum and quince are in bloom too.

We do have one cold night coming up--down to 28 degrees. We have fruit trees in bloom and the lilacs are about to start. I hope we don't lose all of those.

Isn't it great to see all of the spring color. Everything is so pretty.

Brod, I really like your tall phlox, and Nancy, the daffs are lovely. Spring is surely close.

There were a couple of smaller tornadoes a county over from us, mostly some tree or roof damage. I think the warnings were overdone a bit, but better to over than under warned.

The frost warning is down to one day, so I will cover Fernstone. I suspect it would be fine but I won't take chances any more.
