Rob, my mom had the sound track to South Pacific and would play it on weekends while she/we cleaned house. I'm sure I can still sing every song on that 78.

Dead Kennedys are not my cup of tea. Johnny Paycheck's version is the original, I believe, It's a country and western song.

DKs remind me of when (regrettably) two of my kids had a taste for groups like NOFX and I had to take them to local appearances. Guitarists with no talent other than to play power chords, songs that were not melodic, not rhythmical. You know, the kind no mother would love. Flogging Molly was good though. Thankfully, they grew out of the genre.

There's been a lot of good punk rock to my taste, just not the punk/ska nonsense of the 1990s. Everyone has different tastes, though, I get that.
