Safrano (tea, 1837)

Safrano is the most reliable rose in my garden for blooming - all the time, gently, and persistently. In my climate it only rests for about one month in mid -winter, and then starts its Spring bloom after that. It always has some blooms on it, all year. I love the way the pale yellow/buff blooms contrast with the dark red new foliage. Ours is was planted in the 1970s, according to my FIL. That makes it almost 50 years old! It is not huge, but does seem to add a bit to its size every year - wider than tall. It just keeps getting better and better. Here are some pics of it I took 2-3 days ago:
