Building a Home Other Design Dilemma

Vaulted ceiling with quarter round trim

I have a vaulted ceiling that has an upward 103 degrees angle up. I have tried to watch many videos and they all show quarter round with a third piece in between I just need to know what to set my angle on my saw. Do I need to cut back on the piece after I cut it to make it fit properly? Help as I am ready to pull my hair out.

There are a few carpenters who visit this site but it's mostly designers and home decorators who would hire out for things like this. You'll probably get a quicker answer if you post this on a carpentry forum or subreddit.

I'd consider coping instead of mitering.

What about using a scribe molding instead of a 1/4 round? Would that be easier to cut the angle?

I am not any sort of wood worker!
