I guess I should have added our front door is Mahoghany too so I need it all to blend as I know all woods stain different.

What do you mean by 3 10" Pine Beams and where will they be going? Are you saying these will be your columns? What type of pine?

Yes columns sorry. They will be going right on top of the stone columns on front porch. They are pine and were cut to size by the sawmill here in South Carolina

So they would be southern yellow pine. That will not take stain very well so i would definitely go dark, close as possible to the mahogany door. The will check and crack for sure. Were it me, I would be using fiberglass round columns and painting them, not using solid wood.

I'd reconsider all the colors. What I've shown below is an example to give you an idea, especially for the trim.

The white (trim and brick) just does not work with the stone, or really, the stone does not work with everything else.

I would try a dark color for the trim too.

As for the columns, stain them dark, but solid sawn stained pine seems a bit rustic for this house.

Ok thanks. We will go with a dark stain. As for the white its done and there to stay. I like it. We didnt opt for the rough sawn look. They will be sanded smooth and wrapped at each end.
