I don't know this plant personally but Tanacetum would make it a Tansy rather than a Yarrow. T vulgaris is a vigorous spreader and T macrophyllum also increases by rhizomes. On line sources say it spreads more slowly if grown in poor soil so the implication is that it'll romp away if grown in good soil.

I had a clump of Tanacetum macrophyllum that was growing at my old house - it grew next to the greenhouse so it got the extra moisture from the roof and had shade during the afternoon. It was very healthy, it grew at least 5' tall and had stems as thick as my thumb. It looks like a giant yarrow, the plant grows straight up and the flower heads are about 8 - 10" across. The whole clump was at least 4' across after several years and it bloomed in the early summer. It is an easy plant but it needs moisture, good soil and some shade to grow well. It is one of those plants that always is wilted when the sun hits it.

Well given its need for moister conditions to do its best I will pass on it.
