Forgot the living room and dining room are one yellow wall on the east

SW Alabaster would be a great option... you can see by the samples of white next to it that it is a soft white. I would paint the ceiling, walls and trim all the same color.

if you are keeping the blue drapes, fine, but I would remove the valance and keep the panels.

i definitely getting rid of the curtains. my boyfriend is hopeful that we can do two or three paint colors. he doesnt like all one color. i did look into BM Manchester tan on some walls and maybe Grant Geige on another wall with trim and celing of cloud white or simply white. Or SW Nacre walls with pure white trim and celing.. Or SW roman column walls with Alabaster celing & trim. last was SW Kilim Beige walls with trim and celing Cloud white. what do think? im new to this paint stuff

Bad combinations all around, far too many colors.!!

The blue is NOT good with the carpet. No blue is going to be good with the carpet, nor will it be good with a lot of dark furniture.

You are going to waste a ton of paint, when the best you could do now? Is pick a very soft white and get to one color everywhere, except a separate bedroom or bath.

Thank you. the person whom commented early said i should use alabaster. am i painting everything, walls,trim and fireplace just one color.? would Sw Nacre work? or what other soft white do you think? do you recomend also need to primer the walls first?

Ben Moore Navajo is a great soft wall color. Use a clear white on ceiling, Chantilly, or Decorator white. You can use either of those two on all trim ( in your case that is fire surround, doors, ONLY in SATIN finish ( Advance B.M ) .

The rest of the trim is far too skimpy for ANY highlight! Paint "crown" and base molding SAME AS walls, and spare yourself the extra cost of even changing the finish. Just use the wall color and matte finish.

that sounds good. So if im iunderstanding i use chant or decor white on trim and celing in satin finish. what finish would i do navajo white? do i paint fireplace chant or decor in satin also?
