Under counter fridge

The house we bought in SC has a Marvel wine fridge in the kitchen. It's loud and we don't drink enough wine to make it useful for us. It doesn't work to chill other beverages because it frosts up if you turn the temp down low. I'd like to replace it with an under-counter refrigerator - plain old fridge, not a beverage fridge. Though it would likely hold beverages, it seemed like the bev refrigerators were more expensive though many of the regular under counter models are more expensive than what I'll pay for a regular full-size refrigerator. The regular fridge is counter depth so we could use the extra space.

In looking at these there are quite a few brands I've never heard of. Does anyone have experience with these? I want something quiet and reliable (if that's possible these days). I don't remember the size of the one that's there but I'm hoping it's 24" as that seems to be a common size.

Are you averse to Subzero refrigerator drawers? Love ours. I especially like them as an easy spot for platters when we entertain. You can even get one freeezer and one fridge if that helps.

After the dishwasher drawers I think I’ll pass on fridge drawers. I’d also prefer to find something less expensive if possible.

Not a fan of DW drawers, but have to agree with Mtn that fridge drawers are great. I am no longer 20 and spending lots of time on my dorm floor. The drawers are so much easier for beverages and such -- pull out the drawer and see everything versus bend and dig. They are expensive, but that make sense.

Based on comments here years ago, we purchased a Perlick for a previous home and were very happy with it.

Okay, I'll reconsider the drawers - there are many brands. I did like the convenience of the top dishwasher drawer and my dissatisfaction with the way things fit in it wouldn't apply to a fridge.

Definitely will do that - though I imagine I won't be able to hear them. I really don't want loud, especially now that I got rid of the loud dishwasher.
